We may be a little biased, but we think pretty highly of Belgians (iykyk)!
Moonpie (named after one of his favorite treats) is the biggest sweetheart. He stands a whopping 17 h tall. Don’t let his big size intimidate you though, he is as gentle as they come. He is 15 years old. 
Moonpie leads with just a rope around his neck, stands tied, picks up all four feet (without stocks), loads in the trailer, enjoys a bath… He is happy to w/t/c both ways. He stops on woah! No worries about this one running off, he takes a good bit of leg to keep the trot/canter. He was trained by the Amish to drive. We haven’t hooked him up since we don’t have a harness/cart big enough. 
He would make a fantastic therapy horse, mounted patrol horse, fox hunter (third flight), husband horse for those who want to keep their husbands around—no worries about this one killing your man, trail horse, and the list goes on. Moonpie may not be the most athletic, he’s more the mild underachiever who is happy to be there and will be sure to bring you home safely! Not unimportant though 😉 He is comfy as a couch and about as bombproof as they come. 
He is up to date on shots, worming, farrier care, and coggins.
