Zebus are one of two true mini cattle breeds (the other being dexter). All other mini cattle have been bred down to one of these two breeds. Zebus are know for their hardiness, parasite resistance, and ability to thrive in arid conditions.
Sahara is a yellow highland x zebu heifer. She is 8 months old. Mom is zebu (pictured next to her) and dad is highland. She looks like a lioness with her tuft of hair on her poll and down the top of her neck!
 
She is still out in the field with her mom and will remain there until she finds her new home. She has not been handled but with a little one on one time it shouldn’t take long to get her used to you.
 
She will come up to date on shots and worming.
